Julia Roberts made sure that the statement necklace stayed in the spotlight at the 67th annual Golden Globes by wearing a waist-length pendant by Van Cleef and Arpels. The vintage pieces boasts a pendant of 29 citrines and diamonds in 18 kt gold. But the night's surprise winner turned out to be the statement earring. Kate Hudson wore pearl and diamond tassle earrings from Stephen Russell of New York, along with a Columbian emerald and diamond ring and diamond and pearl mesh bracelets. Courtney Cox also went for bold drops with giant black sapphire earrings by Ofira Schwartz. Marion Cotillard, meanwhile, doffed earrings in favour of trillion cut diamond hair clips by Chopard. These were worn with two trillion cut diamond bracelets (53 carats), an Asscher cut diamond bracelet and an exquisite emerald cut diamond ring, all set in platinum, and also by Chopard. Carey Mulligan also thought out of the box by topping her pixie cut with a 19th century, 20-carat, single-strand diamond necklace by Fred Leighton, that was worn as a headband. And one can only imagine how Julianne Moore ears are feeling today, after sporting those supersized $3 million emerald earrings by Bulgari. But didn't they look great!
