A sparkling new chapter

A message from the editor-in-chief

Dear jewelry lovers,

For the past two years I have had the pleasure of writing about jewelry, and learning so much about this magnificent world of art, nature, craftsmanship and design.

A year into this new adventure, in August 2009, I also joined FASHION magazine, Canada's #1 fashion and beauty magazine, as acting editor-in-chief.

Since then, I have kept FirstwaterNews alive, with the intention of returning to the website full-time when FASHION's permanent editor-in-chief returned from her one-year maternity leave.

However, I have now been made permanent editor-in-chief of FASHION, a position I have accepted with great joy and commitment.

Unfortunately, I will not be able to give FirstwaterNews the attention it deserves to thrive. The website will remain active for the foreseeable future, but will not be updated.
