Kate Winslet is loving those diamond drop earrings by Chopard. At the 2009 British Academy of Film and Television Arts awards in London, Winslet picked up her Best Actress award for The Reader in Chopard’s shoulder dusting diamond drops. The triple strands swung over a black Zac Posen mermaid gown, and accompanied the Swiss jeweler’s multi-row ashoka-cut diamond bracelet. A hint of colour sparkled in Winslet’s updo thanks to an art deco-style yellow and white diamond hair ornament. However she maintained a mostly white diamond palette by Chopard at events throughout January. Winslet lit up the Golden Globes with oval diamond drop earrings on a French wire and a five row multi-shaped diamond bracelet, worn with a black strapless Yves Saint Laurent gown. The strappy cobalt Narciso Rodriguez gown that Winslet rocked at the SAG Awards dazzled with 22 carat pear shape diamond drop earrings and a 39 carat three row diamond bracelet. She has also been photographed recently in Chopard’s white diamond hoop earrings, 6 carat diamond stud earrings and diamond bangles. Penelope Cruz has taken a more colourful route of late. The BAFTA Best Supporting Actress accepted her award in large yellow and white diamond cluster earrings, a yellow diamond tennis bracelet and an emerald and sapphire cocktail ring set with diamond micro-pave, all from Chopard. Cruz has embraced even stronger hues in recent months. The star Vicky Christina Barcelona has emerged on red carpets in 6 carat orange spinel earrings, a rare sugarloaf ruby square cut ring, cushion-cut yellow sapphire earrings and a blue sapphire and diamond ring, all by Chopard.
